Smita Poudrier, CPA – CEO – CFO

Smita Poudrier received a Masters of Science in Taxation from the University of Hartford and a BS in Accounting from Maharishi International University. Ms. Poudrier completed her CPA requirements, working most recently at Ernst & Young prior to joining Summit. Ms. Poudrier and her staff handle all contracts, finance, accounting, payroll, and taxation aspects, including compliance and regulations with federal and state policies.

Paul Patel – President

Paul Patel is one of the original founders of Summit Technologies. Mr. Patel has an extensive background in the computer industry, including sales, technical support and service both in the Federal and Commercial markets. Mr. Patel is responsible for providing overall strategic leadership and general management of Summit. His key focus is new business development and developing strategic partnerships with technology vendors and service providers. Mr. Patel received an MBA in Finance and International Business and a BS in Accounting, and brings over 20+ years of progressive experience to Summit.

Christopher Calma, CISSP, CISM – CIO

Christopher Calma is one of the original founders of Summit Technologies. Mr. Calma provides Summit and our clients with technology guidance leveraging his 20+ years of progressive knowledge in systems architecture, security, design, database, and web development skills. Mr. Calma also serves as CISO and manages the security posture, compliance and remediation of Summit and its divisions. Prior to starting Summit, Mr. Calma consulted for several prominent Fortune 500 corporations.

Greg Goff – SVP, Business Development Federal

Mr. Goff has over 25 years of progressive experience in Information Technology and working with commercial and federal customers. Prior to joining Summit Technologies, Mr. Goff was the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) For TELESIS Corporation. He aligned technology with business strategy integrating industry best practices with the latest technologies. Mr. Goff has worked at the highest levels, overseeing large portfolios of projects in multiple technologies while simultaneously developing innovativ​​e technology solutions and institutionalizing best practices. Mr. Goff was a Program Manager at the Treasury Department and for the National Institutes of Health. He served as the CIO for Thomson Financial’s Institutional Shareholder Services. Mr. Goff holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh and is PMP certified.​

Scott Thomas – VP, Business Development

Mr. Thomas is a Business Development professional with over 30 years of management and sales experience with proven accomplishments in new business and project management. He is responsible for managing and developing staffing projects which includes over $40 million for DHS. Prior to Summit Technologies, Mr. Thomas was a Senior Analyst at Unisys Corporation where he established and managed their small business procurement programs which included a $1.5 billion federal contract.  Mr. Thomas holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Pennsylvania State University.​

Robert Hopkins – SVP, Sales

Mr. Hopkins joined Summit Technologies in May 2015 to help expand Summit’s presence in the commercial market in the Northeast. Mr. Hopkins has over 20 years of progressive experience in sales of Information Technology and working with commercial customers. Prior to joining Summit Technology, Mr. Hopkins held various sales and senior sales positions at Oracle, Ceridian, ADP, CenturyLink, and AT&T. Mr. Hopkins is a driven sales professional with a proven track record in new business to business sales and account growth across the solution, software, and outsourcing sectors. Mr. Hopkins holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Quinnipiac University.
